We now own and use the latest Olympus Borescope System the IPLEX NX with advanced Digital Stereo measuring capability.

Laser-generated light illuminates the tip, where a video chip captures the image beneath the lens adapters.

Borescope Technology
What is a borescope?
A borescope, also known as Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), is an industrial tool similar to a medical endoscope. It allows technicians to visually inspect areas that are otherwise inaccessible without disassembly—like the internal components of a jet engine.
The term “remote” refers to the fact that the inspection is performed without direct line of sight. Instead, the borescope transmits live images from inside the engine to the operator, enabling detailed assessment without invasive procedures.
At RVI Ltd, we use borescopes to inspect the internal sections of jet engines—quickly, safely, and without removing key components.
